Kara Killmer opened up about her departure from Chicago Fire ahead of her last episode.
"I feel this can be a pure conclusion for the arc of Sylvie's character," Killmer informed TVLine in an interview revealed Monday, February 26. Killmer, 35, has portrayed paramedic Sylvie Brett on Chicago Hearth since 2014. After 9 seasons in the One Chicago universe, NBC will air Killmer's farewell episode on Wednesday, February 28, which can showcase Sylvie's wedding ceremony to firefighter Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer).
"I type of love that she began her journey [when] she was dumped at the altar by her highschool boyfriend and runs off to Chicago to start out over again," Killmer stated.
