Golden Bachelor alum Kathy Swarts is dodging questions concerning the apparent ASKN fallout, hinting that "pure selection" took hold of their good friend group.
"We have been a gaggle of fearless ladies who took this on, and the very fact remains — we're all ladies," Kathy, 70, stated in the course of the Thursday, February 8, episode of the "Almost Famous" podcast. "As time goes on, you get to know individuals higher and I feel that's just a pure part of life. I can truthfully say, I am associates with everyone on the present."
She continued, "If there's any person specific that you simply're asking me about, I just assume that natural selection takes over."
When revealing her greatest pals from the first Golden Bachelor season, Kathy named Susan Noles and Nancy Hulkower.

"Nancy, Susan and I simply received back from St. Martin and had a great time," Kathy continued. "I'd say we didn't depart that island in a single piece, but we had a great time."
She added, "I feel, like some other season, when you've got a bunch of girls who are making an attempt thus far one man, issues occur and other people aren't necessarily themselves. That's life, it goes on."
The trio's current trip raised eyebrows amongst Bachelor Nation followers as fellow Golden Bachelor alum April Kirkwood noticeably lacking from the trip. The foursome — April, Susan, Kathy and Nancy — referred to themselves because the ASKN women while vying for Gerry Turner's heart on the ABC spinoff, which aired final fall.
"For all the people from Texas and PA which might be daunting me about why I'm not going to St. Martin. Although it is none of your corporation and there are solely three people who knew I cancelled but karma by no means sleeps," April wrote in a lengthy Instagram caption from January, listing six "reasons" why she didn't go to St. Martin.

"1. I have a job and I can't hold taking off. 2. My roof had a serious leak and I needed to pay $four,500.00 so I can't afford to go. three. My canine are freaking out. 4. My son's birthday is this week and he doesn't have to see me on a seashore right now in our relationship," April wrote. "5. I've to go to NY to see my granddaughter and have fun her third birthday in three weeks so I can be off then. 6. I'm an grownup and I have to make selections which might be greatest for my old flame…not partying but my youngsters and protecting my house."
April concluded her caption by seemingly throwing shade at the other three ladies, hinting that they have been the "only three individuals" who knew that she backed out of the journey.
"That is grownup bullying and it is a low, dense power," April claimed. "This can be a poor example of what grownup females should act like."
Bachelor Nation followers picked up on the drama after the ASKN women made their Bachelor debut in the course of the third episode of Joey Graziadei's season on Monday, February 5.
