Chris Evans held up his defend in favor of superhero films, arguing they're much more troublesome to make efficiently than most individuals assume.

Evans, 42, appeared as Captain America (a.okay.a. Steve Rogers) in 11 Marvel Cinematic Universe titles between 2011 and 2019, and the actor stood up for his filmography throughout an appearance at Emerald City Comedian Con in Seattle on Saturday, March 2.

While Evans acknowledged that not each MCU entry is a bona fide essential smash, he wasn't enthusiastic about parsing out the great ones from the dangerous ones.

"I don't need to highlight particular movies in the Marvel catalog but some of them are phenomenal," he stated. "Like independently, objectively great films, and I feel they deserve a bit of extra credit score."

Evans did observe that 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the actor's second foray as the masked crusader, is his top choice from his MCU canon.

"It's my private favourite Marvel movie that I was a part of," he stated. "It's not just for the movie itself but the expertise. The first film, I was so nervous. You realize what you're moving into and in consequence you're enjoying defense and also you're enjoying to not lose. When Winter Soldier got here round, we have been enjoying to win."

Evans hung up his Captain America mask after 2019's Avengers: Endgame, and whereas he stated a return to the MCU "doesn't feel quite right" in the intervening time, he hinted, "I feel there's extra Steve Rogers tales to tell."
