A WOKE headteacher has been accused of "erasing history" by getting rid of the names of two of Britain's biggest naval heroes from faculty buildings.
Mother and father have been informed Sir Walter Raleigh and Sir Francis Drake had "less than constructive connotations" in trendy occasions.

The Elizabethan-age heroes, who defeated the Spanish Armada and led discoveries to America, are among ten names of "houses" being scrapped at Exeter Faculty in Devon.
Head Louise Simpson stated these being axed not "symbolize the values and inclusive nature" of the varsity.
She is now appealing to oldsters to rename the houses on the £17,000-a-year faculty after native woodlands, castles or topographical options.
However the change has been blasted by mother and father and alumni.
One former pupil advised The Solar: "As an alternative of erasing the varsity's historical past, the mature thing to do is let the pupils assume for themselves.
"Woke cancel culture like this simply makes individuals query the top's suitability for the job."
Sir Francis Drake, the first Brit to circumnavigate the globe, is claimed to be one among Britain's earliest slave traders.
Whereas Sir Walter Raleigh who famously helped defend Britain towards the Spanish Armada, was an early coloniser of America.
General Redvers Buller gained a Victoria Cross preventing within the Zulu War and was later sacked as Commander in chief of British forces in South Africa for failing to quash Boer guerillas.
The other names embrace philanthropists and benefactors Sir Charles Goff, Sir John Daw, Wilfred Townsend, Hugh Crossing, and Elizabeth Dowrich.
