A GRAN who was left dangling the wrong way up 7ft in the air when she acquired caught in a store's electric shutters stated last night time: "It might solely occur to me."
Cleaner Anne Hughes, 71, was waiting outdoors the store for her shift to start out when her coat acquired caught on the curler.
The CCTV footage of her being slowly lifted into the air while still clutching her purchasing trolley and screaming for help went viral this week.
The store manager, Amed Akram, 44, rushed outdoors the Greatest One retailer in Tonteg, close to Pontypridd, Wales, to rescue her on Monday morning.
Mum-of-three Anne stated: "Individuals say it might happen to anybody, no, it might solely occur to me. It's fortunate I've acquired a great sense of humour.
"I was simply stood there when my coat acquired caught and up I went.
"I held on to my purchasing trolley regardless that it was empty — I needed to cling on to something.
"I used to be hanging there like a bat. I used to be just hoping I didn't fall flat on my face."
However Mr Akram heard her cries and gently brought her back to earth uninjured. He stated: "I was opening up the store and I heard screaming so I opened the door and noticed legs towards the window.
"The motor's highly effective so her hand might have gotten caught. It might have been a lot worse."
Anne then carried on and started her shift as if nothing has occurred.
Hours later the video had greater than two million views after the store launched it.
She stated: "My grandchildren rang to say, 'Nan, you're well-known'. I'll never hear the top of it.
"I'll by no means lean towards these shutters again."
However the grandmother added: "I'm telling people who it's the store where the costs don't go up however the employees do."
