Angel Reese breaks WNBA rebounding record just days after honoring the great Dennis Rodman by wearing his Pistons replica jersey
Angel Reese's spectacular rookie campaign continued Sunday as she broke the WNBA record for most rebounds in a single season. The Chicago Sky star snagged 19 rebounds in a loss to the Minnesota Lynx to bring her tally to 418 for the year. Her 405th board came in the second quarter and broke Sylvia Fowles' 404 from 2018. Fowles got drafted into the league in 2015. In her third year, she broke the record set by Jonquel Jones during her sophomore campaign the year before by one rebound.
