When they first moved into Albert Square in 2000, cab driver Charlie Slater and his eclectic family immediately made an impact on EastEnders viewers. The dawn of a new millennium brought overnight fame for many of the family's stars, with actors Jessie Wallace, Michelle Ryan and Kacey Ainsworth turned into household sensations. Rarely far from the drama in Walford, the Slater family consisted of Charlie and his daughters Kat, Lynne, Little Mo and Zoe, as well as Lynne's husband Garry Hobbs.
