Love Island USAis heating up, both inside and outside villa. As couples are formed and destroyed, it seems that fans have gotten a bit...overzealous in their criticism of the islanders. At least, that's whatLove Island USA's message for fans asking for kindness suggests. "We appreciate the fans, the passion for the series, and the amazing group of Islanders who are sharing their summer with us," reads a statement that appeared on-screen during Monday's episode. "Please just remember they're real people—so let's be kind and spread the love!" The message was also posted to the show'sofficial Instagram page. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Love Island USA (@loveislandusa) This plea for fans comes a week afterHuda Mustafa's ex, Noah Sheline, with whom she shares a young daughter, posted on social media asking fans the very same thing. "At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we're human,"Noah reportedly wroteon his Instagram story. "Her going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she's doing, remember she's still human, she has a daughter, and a life." He went on to say that angry fans were combing through his Instagram to "post rude things and comment worse." Noah added that he was worried about how these mean comments might affect Huda's mental health when she inevitably exits the villa. "What you guys do will affect her mental health and my daughter's maybe in the future," he wrote in part. "I don't want my daughter's mom to get out and see this and her mental health goes down a hill." Unfortunately, it looks like fans have decided to redirect their anger at theLove Island USApage directly. Many commented on the show's plea for kindness calling out Huda's treatment of Jeremiah. "Y'all can't let a girl run around and verbally abuse all the Islanders and then preach being kind,"wrote one fan. Others went forAce—another villain of the season—and called out his treatment of Amaya. Many more also made the point thatLove Island USAproducers are the ones who craft the storylines and do the edit. At the end of the day, if there are villains in the villa, it's certainly not because of the fans, but maybe we can still be a little nicer. Or at the very least not leave angry and mean comments directly on people's pages. You Might Also Like Here's What NOT to Wear to a Wedding Meet the Laziest, Easiest Acne Routine You'll Ever Try
