Speaking withEntertainment Weeklylast month ahead of the film's anniversary, directorKen Kwapismade pains to point out how the four leads have stayed close in the decades since production wrapped. "I think fans would be surprised to know that those four actors were strangers to each other when they first met, because almost instantly they created this sense of a lifelong friendship, such a lived-in relationship," Kwapis said.
