Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans' 16-year-old son, Jace, has checked into a mental health facility.

Teen Momstar Jenelle Evans' 16-year-old son Jace is in a mental health facility, following an incident in which he allegedly pulled a gun on his grandmother, Barbara Evans, Jenelle's representative confirms toEntertainment Weekly.

Jenelle is "still trying to find him the best [facility] to meet his needs," her spokesperson said.

He also confirmedTMZ's report that Jace's grandmother called 911 after the gun incident.

Jace allegedly put a gun to his own head and threatened to kill himself and Barbara, the outlet reported, and officers responded to a "troubled teen disturbance" after she called 911 from her North Carolina home Feb. 22.

The rep toldEntertainment Weeklythat Janelle currently lives in Las Vegas and is a full-time mom to other kids. She shares her younger son, Kaiser, who's 11, with ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith. Her daughter, 9-year-old Ensley, is the product of her marriage to ex-husband David Eason. The reality TV star shares Jace with her high school boyfriend Andrew Lewis.

Entertainment Weeklyhas reached out to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office in Bolivia, N.C.

Janelle first appeared on MTV's16 and Pregnantin 2010, then costarred onTeen Mom 2from 2011 to 2019. The show depicted her and several other teenage girls grappling with the hardships of motherhood.

MTV fired Jenelle in 2019, following an incident allegedly involving Eason and the family dog, after the pet bit their daughter.

Jenelle's mother, Barbara, took custody of Jace shortly after his birth; however, Jenelle wasgranted full custodyof him once again in March 2023.

"ITS OFFICIAL! Thanks everyone for the support!" Jenelle captioned a video thatshowed her crying. "Words cant describe how happy i truly am. Our family is complete now! Thank you mom."
