Amazon Prime Video viewers have had to prise themselves away from their screens after watching an 'atmospheric' thriller. Canadian series The Disappearance is such a compelling crime drama that fans have been rationing the six episodes. Set in the Montral suburbs, the French-language show is centred on the disappearance of 10-year-old Anthony (Michael Riendeau), who vanishes from a birthday party. But the investigation takes a turn when it uncovers dark secrets buried by his family, including parents, Henry (Peter Coyote) and Helen (Camille Sullivan).
