Buckle posted on Instagram between June 23 and June 26 to share each step of his plastic surgery experience, down to the surgeon he tapped to work on his face. He also gave a look at the healing process and a rundown of each cosmetic procedure performed on his face. The journey began with a video of Buckle sitting down withNew York City-based plastic surgeon Dr. David Rosenberg. "I looked at everyone's work in Hollywood and I see it close up out of makeup, out of filters, and the best work, you do," he told the surgeon while sitting in a consultation room. "If I was going to have something done to my face, you being the one to do it, would be the greatest day ever." Buckle explained that his main concerns were his sagging neck and face skin, as well as his eyebrows drooping. Dr. Rosenberg said that he planned to address Buckle's concerns through a deep plane neck and face lift, small chin implant and an endoscopic brow lift. The procedures were Buckle's first time undergoing plastic surgery. "I can't wait for you guys to see the whole process because I want to demystify all of this stuff for you and I want to be really up front and show you all of it," Buckle concluded his video with Dr. Rosenberg. Kristofer Buckle/Instagram In the video's caption, he continued, "@drdavidrosenbergis going to perform the same magic on me as he's done on the most famous faces in entertainment. "Right now, me and Josh are doing this thing called nesting," Pumpkin, 25, explained. "Basically, he's at the house for a week and then I'm at the house for the week, and then we kind of just figure out where we're gonna stay for the [other] week." "So I just made my bed at the warehouse," she added, confirming that she'd been staying at her place of work. "I feel like I don't have my kids, I wake up at work, go to sleep at work." Euro 2025: Norway's female soccer leaders blaze a trail for equality and progressNew Foto - Euro 2025: Norway's female soccer leaders blaze a trail for equality and progress

GENEVA (AP) — In the male-dominated world of soccer leadership, many of the trailblazing women have come from Norway. The Norway team at theWomen's European Championshipis captained by the firstWomen's Ballon d'Or winner, Ada Hegerberg, and led by a female federation president, Lise Klaveness, who is one of just three such leaders among the 55 UEFA member countries. Klaveness, who played for Norway's team that was runner-up at Euro 2005, sees a decades-long tradition of the federation being progressive, promoting women and speaking out at international meetings. Before her, there wasKaren Espelund, the first woman to join UEFA's executive committee, and Ellen Wille, whose speech at a FIFA congress helped create the Women's World Cup. They all worked with Per Omdal, a long-time federation president who in 2022 was awarded one of Norway's highest civic honors to recognize his support for women's soccer. "We are not perfect at all," Klaveness told The Associated Press in a recent interview. "Of course everything can be better, but I feel like I inherited something proud and value-based." Captain Ada The captain of Norway's team at Euro 2025 in Switzerland — her squad will play in a group with the host, Finland and Iceland — fits perfectly into the national tradition. Hegerberg is a talented pioneer, winner of the first Ballon d'Or for womenin 2018, and unafraid to have principles. The Lyon forward won the award in the second season of a five-year, self-imposed absence from the national team to protest a lack of equality for women from the federation. Even the award ceremony gave an unwanted opportunity for Hegerberg to show strong character and earn more admiration. Collecting the trophy on stage in Paris, she quickly shut down a French DJ's provocative comment about the sexualized dance twerking. In 2022, within weeks of Klaveness being elected, Hegerberg ended her exile. "Ada already now sees she's part of something bigger … the connection in history," Klaveness told the AP, describing the captain as "a very beloved player." World Cup origin story Hegerberg's exile meant missing the 2019 World Cup in France, the eighth edition of a tournament FIFA's all-male leadership finally launched in 1991. Wille's words at FIFA's annual meeting in 1986 were key to that progress. A member of the Norwegian federation's executive committee, her speech urging FIFA to do more for women's tournaments was a rare female contribution to any debate at its congress. Norway lost that first World Cup final to the United States but won the next title in 1995. UEFA pioneer At age 15 in 1976, Espelund was in the first wave of players when the Norwegian federation formally recognized women's soccer. She later played for the national team. In 2002, at a volatile FIFA congress, Espelund was a rare women in a leadership role as the federation's general secretary alongside president Omdal. Espelund took the platform to challenge FIFA's embattled then-president Sepp Blatter about its fragile finances ahead of him winning re-election. In 2011, with FIFA again in turmoil amidanother controversial Blatter electionand promises of governance reform, Espelund was appointed the first woman on the UEFA executive committee which she served for five years. Klaveness became the fourth in April. Inspiring role model Klaveness, a labor lawyer and judge, made an international impact in her first month as Norwegian federation president. At FIFA's congress in Qatar on the eve of the 2022 World Cup tournament drawKlaveness was alone in drawing attention tothe host nation's treatment of migrant workers and criminalization of homosexual acts, and soccer's responsibility to acknowledge the issues. She laterpushed the case at the Council of Europefor migrant workers' families to be compensated. Klaveness describes Omdal, a former UEFA vice president, as "still my mentor" whom she sees each week. "He really fought for a women's league in Norway and (to) have 50% (representation) on boards." Now Klaveness is herself a role model for women in European soccer, including Norway's coach at Euro 2025, Gemma Grainger. "I feel like Lise is a great example for me and for any female, to really stand by what she says," Grainger told the AP. "For her to stand up and talk so openly and fight for more than football is a true inspiration." ___ AP soccer:https://apnews.com/hub/soccer

Cubs' Kyle Tucker, Ryan Pressly return to Daikin Park for first time since Astros traded themNew Foto - Cubs' Kyle Tucker, Ryan Pressly return to Daikin Park for first time since Astros traded them

HOUSTON (AP) — Kyle Tucker and Ryan Pressly returned to Daikin Park on Friday for the first time since the Houston Astros traded them to the Chicago Cubs during the offseason and were greeted by a video tribute before the start of the game. The two stepped out of the Cubs dugout and tipped their caps to the fans while getting a standing ovation. "Obviously, we are here to do our job and win some games, but it's nice to at least catch up with some of the guys over there that I played with for awhile and been around, so it is cool in that sense" Tucker said earlier. A three-time All-Star right fielder eligible for free agency after the season, the 28-year-old Tucker is hitting .287 with 16 home runs and 49 RBIs. He was swapped in December for outfielder Cam Smith, infielder Isaac Paredes and right fielder Hayden Wesneski. Pressly, a 36-year-old right-hander, is 2-2 with five saves and a 3.90 ERA. The two-time All-Star closer was dealt in January for minor league right-hander Juan Bello. Tucker was part of Astros teams that reached six straight AL Championship Series and caught the final out of the 2022 World Series against Philadelphia. "There's a lot of really good memories here," Tucker said. "We had a lot of success playing in this city and on this field. It's cool. The biggest thing is being around the guys in those moments." Pressly earned the save in Game 6 of the 2022 World Series. "A lot of memories were made out on that field," Pressly said. "A lot of lifetime friendships made on the other side as well. I always root for these guys. They were great teammates. I was super fortunate and blessed to share a clubhouse with a couple of those guys who are pretty much legends over there in this city." Houston entered an AL West-best 48-33 record, identical to the record of the NL Central-leading Cubs. "Every time they lose someone, they always seem to replace them with someone who is really good and kind of pick up the baton right behind them and keep winning. It's what they've been doing for the past decade now," Pressly said of the Astros. "It was fun to watch when I was on the team, but now that I'm not on the team, it's not fun to watch. It's always been a good team. It's going to be fun." ___ AP MLB:https://apnews.com/hub/mlb

NFL coach Jim Harbaugh added to lawsuit about hacking allegations against former assistantNew Foto - NFL coach Jim Harbaugh added to lawsuit about hacking allegations against former assistant

DETROIT (AP) — NFL coach Jim Harbaugh was added Friday to a lawsuit against the University of Michigan and a former assistant football coach who isaccused of hackinginto the computer accounts of college athletes across the U.S. to look for intimate photos. Attorneys claim Harbaugh, who was Michigan's coach, and others knew that Matt Weiss was seen viewing private information on a computer in December 2022 but still allowed him to continue working as co-offensive coordinator in a national playoff game roughly a week later. Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel and other officials were also added to the lawsuit in federal court in Detroit. "The university's delay in taking meaningful protective action until after a high-stakes game sends a clear message: Student welfare was secondary," said Parker Stinar, who is the lead lawyer in a class-action lawsuit arising from a criminal investigation of Weiss. Messages seeking comment from Manuel and Harbaugh, who is currently the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, were not immediately returned Friday. Separately, Weiss has been charged with identity theft and unauthorized computer access from 2015 to 2023. The indictment says he got access to the social media, email and cloud storage accounts of more than 2,000 college athletes, as well as more than 1,300 students or alumni from schools across the U.S., to find private images, primarily of women. He haspleaded not guilty. "Had Harbaugh implemented basic oversight of his staff, plaintiffs and the class would have been protected against predators such as Weiss," the updated lawsuit states. "Instead, Weiss was a highly compensated asset that was promoted by and within the football program, from which position he was able to, and did, target female student athletes." The lawsuit says a staff member saw Weiss viewing private information at Schembechler Hall, headquarters for the football team, around Dec. 21, 2022, and reported it before Michigan played Texas Christian University in a playoff game days later on Dec. 31. Weiss was fired a few weeks later in January 2023 during an investigation of his computer use. Earlier this year, after charges were filed, Harbaugh told reporters that he didn't know anything about Weiss' troubles until after the playoff game. He said the allegations were "shocking." Weiss worked for Harbaugh's brother, John, on the coaching staff of the NFL's Baltimore Ravens before joining the Michigan team in 2021. The lawsuit says Weiss' university computer had encryption software that had to be disabled by an external vendor as part of the investigation. Authorities disclosed in April that thousands of intimate photos and videos were found on his electronic devices and cloud storage accounts.

Islanders' No. 1 pick Matthew Schaefer pays tribute to late mother with a kiss and a promiseNew Foto - Islanders' No. 1 pick Matthew Schaefer pays tribute to late mother with a kiss and a promise

LOS ANGELES (AP) — After Matthew Schaefer pulled the blue-and-orange sweater over his head at the NHL draft, his eyes already glistening with tears, he glanced down at his left shoulder and saw a pink ribbon. The symbol of breast cancer awareness was the New York Islanders' tribute to his mother, Jennifer, who died of the disease just 16 months ago. The No. 1 pick kissed the ribbon and modestly pointed to the sky, paying a poignant tribute to the woman who raised this boy into the man he'll soon become — and who will accompany him on every step of his bright hockey future. The Islanders selected the gifted 17-year-old defenseman first overall Friday night, kicking off an NHL draft with a beautiful moment felt across the breadth of the sport. "I appreciate you taking a chance on me," Schaefer said in a video conference call with the Islanders' front office. "I promise I won't disappoint, but especially I just want to say to my mom and all my family and friends, thanks for everything." High-scoring forward Michael Misawent second overall to the San Jose Sharks, and the Chicago Blackhawks took Swedish forward Anton Frondell third at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. The Islanders maneuvered their way into three picks in the top 17, but they surprised nobody by using their first No. 1 selection since 2009 on Schaefer. The 6-foot-2 blueliner from Hamilton, Ontario, with exceptional puck-moving ability and strong defensive skills spent the past two seasons with the Ontario Hockey League's Erie Otters, growing into an irresistible choice for the top pick. Schaefer persevered through tragedyto reach this moment. Along with the loss of his mother, he also endured the recent deaths of the Otters' owner, Jim Waters, and the mother of his billet family. The Islanders added the ribbon patch to the ceremonial jersey specifically for Schaefer, along with his mother's initials on the sweater collar. "Seeing the ribbon on my jersey, and I saw a picture, it has J.S. on my back here," Schaefer said. "You can see just how high-class the organization is. It really means a lot. I wish my mom could be here today. Obviously, she's with me here in spirit. ... Cancer sucks, and it's not fun. She didn't feel the best, but she was always the happiest in the family. She would do anything for us." Schaefer scored 22 points while playing in only 17 games last season before breaking his collarbone in December. His acumen on both ends of the ice still propelled him to the top of nearly all draft boards. Schaefer is just the fifth defenseman picked No. 1 overall in the NHL draft since 2000, and the first since Owen Power went to Buffalo in 2021. Schaefer also is the second Erie product to go No. 1, joining Connor McDavid in 2015. "First and foremost, we drafted him because he's an unbelievable hockey player," Isles general manager Mathieu Darche said. "Obviously, the human being is exceptional. (For) a 17-year-old to have that resilience, maturity with everything that he's gone through is beyond impressive, honestly. I haven't met many 17-year-old kids that act like him. But at the end of the day, we're drafting him because he's a hell of a hockey player." Schaefer got two new teammates when the Islanders used the 16th pick on Swedish forward Victor Eklund and nabbed defenseman Kashawn Aitcheson with the 17th selection. Both Pennsylvania teams also were busy in Los Angeles. The Philadelphia Flyers grabbed forward Porter Martone sixth overall before trading up for the 12th selection to get forward Jack Nesbitt, while the Pittsburgh Penguins maneuvered up and down the draft to control three picks in the top 24, swinging two trades while drafting forwards Benjamin Kindel, Bill Zonnon and William Horcoff. Misa tore up the OHL last season as the captain of the Saginaw Spirit, scoring 62 goals and 134 points in just 65 games. While wearing a teal jersey for the first time, he repeated his desire to play in the NHL next season if he can crack the roster of a struggling Sharks organization that chose Will Smith fourth overall in 2023 and got center Macklin Celebrini with the first overall pick a year ago. "He's an ultra-competitive kid who's been playing up a level, up a birth year his whole life," Sharks general manager Mike Grier said about Misa. "He wants to be the best. He wants to play against the best, so I'm sure this is what he wants to do, but you know we're not going to hand him anything. He's got to come into training camp and try and take a job." Frondell excelled as a 17-year-old forward last season with Djurgården in Sweden's second division, showing off a two-way game that allowed him to push Misa on some draft boards. At 6-2, he could provide a large complement to Connor Bedard. Frondell is the eighth Swedish player to be a top-three selection, joining elite company including Victor Hedman, Mats Sundin and the Sedin twins. Center Caleb Desnoyers went fourth to the Utah Mammoth, who moved up 10 spots in the draft lottery. The Nashville Predators chose physical forward Brady Martin with the fifth pick before trading up for the 21st selection to get Kitchener defenseman Cameron Reid. Martin skipped the draft, staying home on his family farm in Ontario. Fans of the host Los Angeles Kings inside the theater got fired up for their club to make the 24th selection — which the Kings promptly traded to Pittsburgh for the 31st and 59th selections, prompting groans from the crowd. Los Angeles eventually chose defenseman Henry Brzustewicz from the Memorial Cup champion London Knights in general manager Ken Holland's first selection for his new team. The Penguins created the majority of the surprises in the first round, first by choosing Calgary Hitmen center Kindel with the 11th pick — much higher than many prognosticators expected. Pittsburgh then traded the 12th pick, which originally belonged to the New York Rangers, to Philadelphia for the 22nd and 31st picks. The Flyers wanted the 6-foot-4 Nesbitt, a fast-rising center from the OHL's Windsor Spitfires last season. The Penguins also gave a second-round pick to the Kings and swapped first-rounders so they could move up for Horcoff — the son of NHL veteran Shawn Horcoff — with the 24th pick. The Anaheim Ducks took a chance on forward Roger McQueen with the 10th selection. The 6-foot-5 McQueen is widely thought to have enough talent to become an elite center, but the Saskatchewan native has been slowed by a back injury that scared off some teams. Two goalies were chosen in the first round for the first time since 2021 and only the third time in 13 years. Columbus grabbed Russia's Pyotr Andreyanov with the 20th pick, making him the highest-picked European goalie in fourth years, while San Jose added goalie Joshua Ravensbergen with the 30th selection. The Boston Bruins used the seventh overall pick on Boston College center James Hagens, the consensus top prospect for this draft a year ago. Hagens, a Long Island native coveted by many Islanders fans, slid down the board just enough to reach the Bruins, whose pick was announced by a video of Adam Sandler in character as Happy Gilmore, complete with his signature Bruins jersey. "I'm so excited to be back in Boston, and to have Adam Sandler make the pick, that was special," said Hagens, who cites "Happy Gilmore" as his favorite movie. "I love to win, and I'm really glad that I'm in Boston." The Islanders won the lottery to pick first in a draft that is packed with talent — while missing a few staples of recent drafts. There was no prohibitive lock of a No. 1 pick in this field, unlike the past two drafts, although Schaefer clearly came out on top. The draft also lacked the centralized structure that has long been a staple of this annual exercise. The 32 teams' various executives are mostly at home, not strewn across the draft floor. The majority of the picks were taken to a video room just behind the stage to exchange televised pleasantries with their new front offices through video conferencing. While reviews of the new format seemed largely negative from television viewers and fans, many hockey executives praised the format afterward. ___ AP NHL:https://apnews.com/NHL

Keke Palmer Pulled Jonathan Majors Podcast Episode Because 'People Felt It Was Insensitive'; Defends Interviewing Him: 'I Don't Judge Nobody'New Foto - Keke Palmer Pulled Jonathan Majors Podcast Episode Because 'People Felt It Was Insensitive'; Defends Interviewing Him: 'I Don't Judge Nobody'

Keke Palmer recently appeared on "The Breakfast Club" (viaEntertainment Weekly) and explained why her podcast interview with Jonathan Majors was pulled before its online release. Majors was set to appear on an April episode of "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer" during his press tour for "Magazine Dreams." The episode never dropped and Palmer put out an interview with rapper Kash Doll in its place, resulting in a lot of questions from fans. "Obviously, Meagan is my girl," Palmer said about Meagan Good, who married Majors this year. "I've grown up loving her. She's honestly a mentor to me and a representation for all of us young Black women. I mean, I was happy for her to get married. I was excited to have the conversation." "You don't agree with everything they did, you don't love everything, but you got to have the conversation. You have to set the stage for them to speak and for people to watch and take what they want to take from it, so that's why I was open and excited to do the interview." Majors was convicted of assault and harassment in a 2023 domestic violence case involving ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. He was sentenced to probation and an intervention program. The release of "Magazine Dreams" in late March marked an acting comeback. Palmer said the team behind her podcast pulled the Majors episode "based off of the reaction" of having Majors on as a guest, adding: "People felt it was insensitive. I always want to be respectful and understand where everybody's coming from. If they're not going to feel like they're going to receive anything good from the interview, then okay, cool. But I sat down with the brother for us to talk and let him be heard. I mean, people sit down with serial killers.""I'm not comparing him to a serial killer," Palmer continued. "At the end of the day, I felt as a journalist, I'm supposed to talk and let the public decide how they want to feel. But that didn't get a chance to happen. I wish them all the best. I really want to say that because I don't judge nobody because I don't want to be judged. So at the end of the day, I'm happy for Meagan. I'm happy for them. Maybe one day, we get a chance to put [the podcast interview] out. I'm not sure." Majors was found guilty in December 2023, derailing an acting career that reached new heights earlier that year with major villain roles in "Creed III" and "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania." Majors was all set up to be the new Thanos-like villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kang the Conquerer. Marvel parted ways with him after the verdict.
