While on the talk show, Turner wore a black lace naked dress with shiny black mule heels. Who knewSophie Turnerhad the power to break up a couple by the wave of her hand? Not her! But that's exactly what happened a few years ago at a party, and it has become quite a memorable moment for the actress. TheGame of Thronesalum appeared onLate Night With Seth Meyerslast night, where she lived to tell the tale about how she led a celeb couple to splitsville. As the story goes, she attended a San Diego Comic-Con after-party a few moons ago and had a "quite crazy" evening. Getty Images Things "went really south really quick" when her childhood friend askedTurnerfor a favor. "She saw this actor she loved," Turner recalled, adding that her pal begged her to say hi to him. Instead, Turner gave the man a casual wave from afar. "That was it," Turner said. "Later on, I see this girl looking at me and she's a famous actress. And I go, 'I have to go and tell her how much she means to me.'" Little did she know, the run-in would turn into a confrontation. Getty Images The mom-of-two "danced on over" to the woman, who greeted her by saying, "Can you stop fucking flirting with my fiancé?" Stunned, Turner asked the actress who her fiancé was, and she "pointed at the guy" she had waved to. "I have no idea who this man is," Turner said. "Turns out, they broke their engagement off that night because of my [wave]. I didn't realize I held this power." Unfortunately, Turner said she could not identify the ex-couple or she would get "in trouble." Getty Images Turnerdidn't just capture Meyers' audience with her eventful stories, but also her bold fashion. She stepped out in a sexy, completely see-through black lace naked dress. The daring centerpiece featured long sleeves, a slinky silhouette, a high neckline, and a knee-grazing hemline. She paired the frock with shiny black open-toe mule heels. As for beauty, Turner styled her golden, strawberry-blonde locks down in soft waves with a middle part. Sheglammed up with bombshell makeup, complete with dark eyeliner, peachy cheeks, illuminating skin, and a matte nude lip. Read the original article onInStyle

Rapper Sean Kingston sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for wire fraudNew Foto - Rapper Sean Kingston sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for wire fraud

Rapper Sean Kingston was sentenced to three and a half years in federal prison and three years of supervised release on Friday after a jury found him and his mother guilty of wire fraud earlier this year. Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, and his mother, Janice Turner, were found guilty of organized fraud and grand theft charges in May fordefrauding businessesof more than $1 million. Turner, 63, was sentenced tofive years in federal prison last monthand three years of probation. Zeljka Bozanic, Kingston's lawyer, argued on Friday that even though Kingston is 35 years old, he still acts like he's a child. She attributed Kingston's crimes to a 2011 jet ski accident that left Kingston severely injured. She also argued that Kingston had no role models growing up besides his mother, who was in prison at the time of his overnight fame, and noted that most of the businesses have been paid back. "I know he's very sorry for what he's done," she said. Kingston briefly addressed the court, saying: "I've learned from my actions." His attorney needed to adjust the mic for him so he could be heard. The prosecution shot down the notion that Kingston's criminal activity had anything to do with his accident and suggested that Kingston be sentenced to 60 months in prison. "He is a thief through and through," Marc Anton, a lawyer for the Justice Department, said. The rapper's requests to self surrender due to scheduled medical appointments were denied. He was remanded once the sentencing on Friday concluded. Kingston's supporters said, "we love you," as he was being taken away. Another restitution hearing is set for Oct. 16. The rapper, who is best known for his 2007 hit song "Beautiful Girls," was arrested in Fort Irwin, California, in May following a SWAT raid on his home in Southwest Ranches, Florida, in Broward County. Kingston and his mother were thenindictedin 2024. Prosecutors accused Kingston and his mother of using his celebrity name to trick luxury businesses into delivering items before payment. Payment was then made using fraudulent or worthless wire transfers, according to the indictment. Turner and Kingston would then keep the stolen items. Arrest warrants said the mother and son defrauded a jewelry business, a luxury bed company, a used luxury and exotic car dealership, and a luxury microLED TV company. The scheme transpired for several years until March 2024, according to the indictment. Kingston and Turner pleaded not guilty to the charges. Following their convictions, Kingston was ordered to be confined to house arrest with electronic monitoring, while his mother was remanded in federal custody. With the hit song "Beautiful Girls" reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Kingston became an overnight star at 17 years old. He has released three studio albums since the song came out in 2007.

Slugger leads South Carolina as blowouts are the rule in early days of Little League World SeriesNew Foto - Slugger leads South Carolina as blowouts are the rule in early days of Little League World Series

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — South Carolina snuck into theLittle League World Serieswith a five-run rally over the defending champs. But the club from Irmo, representing the Southeast region, is showing it belongs at the tournament, thanks in part to slugger-pitcher Joe Guiletti. In the sixth inning of the regional final, the 2024 champions from Lake Mary, Florida, opted to walk Joe rather than face him with the game on the line. The decision came back to bite Lake Mary as Brady Westbrooks hit a walkoff three-run double to win that game 5-4. When South Carolina made its LLWS debut on Thursday against Braintree, Massachusetts, Joe got his chance to hit and made the most of it. He doubled in his first at-bat and, with the bases loaded in the second inning, Joe smoked a line drive to left-center field that cleared the fence for a grand slam that gave his team an 8-0 lead. "I'm just trying to hit it hard somewhere," he said postgame. "In my mind I was like, 'Please get over the wall.'" Initially, he wasn't sure if the ball had the distance, but it cleared. The entire dugout emptied, swarming him as he crossed home plate. Joe is the first player from South Carolina, and only the sixth from the Southeast region, to hit a grand slam. "I wish I (walked him)," Massachusetts manager Frank Fasoli said. His assistants suggested the move, but Fasoli ultimately decided to let Joe see a pitch. "That's on me, though." Joe was a dual threat — he also pitched. Going back to the mound after the grand slam, Joe flexed his bicep and pointed to the crowd, which brought the Irmo fans to their feet. He proceeded to strike out the side. South Carolina ultimately won 13-0 in three and a half innings — the game was stopped under Little League scoring rules. Joe, who at 5-foot-10 is the tallest player on South Carolina by about three inches, pitched 3 ⅓ innings, striking out eight and didn't allow a hit. After he was off the mound, Massachusetts scrounged one, but the game was well out of reach. It was the largest opening game shutout by an American team since 2015, when the Mid-Atlantic region defeated the Midwest, 18-0. "Joe gives us a chance in every game when he pitches," manager Dave Bogan said. "The game just in general was what we've done most of the summer, top to bottom. We have really worked the count, driven up pitch counts. Not everybody got a hit, but we had some really nice deep at-bats and I think that helps get pitchers tired and frustrated." The bottom of the lineup worked five of the team's eight walks and Massachusetts used three arms in the game. It'll face Texas on Saturday in the elimination bracket. South Carolina celebrated its win at the ESPN Big Bracket that sits just outside Lamade Stadium. Sutton Gravelle climbed the ladder to move the Southeast team one spot closer to the championship. Everyone was cheering and singing Miley Cyrus' "Party in the USA." Joe isn't a fan of the tune but Sutton, whom Bogan called the team's "comic relief leader," blasts it all the time, so Joe's grown to tolerate it. The whole team has. A majority of South Carolina's roster has played together for years. "One of the most important things is they know when to pick each other up and get on each other a little bit," Bogan said. "They work really well together, not afraid to communicate, which is what we as coaches really like." Early wins give teams a valuable break The first couple days of the tournament were not particularly competitive, with the eight winning teams scoring a combined 59 runs and the losers getting just three. Japan notably threw a combined no-hitter for the ninth time in team history in a 12-0 rout of the Czech Republic — only Taiwan has more no-hitters all time with 11. Venezuela, meanwhile, became the first team this year to earn two shutouts, as it beat Canada 4-0 on Friday. Thursday's winners earned three days off, which are pivotal because of Little League's pitch count rules requiring rest days depending on how many pitches players throw. Joe is required to have three days' rest before taking the mound again for South Carolina. "We get a little time to scout and watch some video from some other games and really think about who our opponent's going to be," Bogan said. "I want these kids to have fun, you know, this is going to be a great experience. We want to focus on baseball so it's half business, half fun." ___ Amanda Vogt is a student in the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism at Penn State.

Over the course of three episodes, those closely involved with the NBC competition series reveal behind-the-scenes secrets and the show's most controversial aspects. Alison Sweeneybegan hostingThe Biggest Loserin Season 4, taking over forCaroline Rhea. "As host of the show, it was my job to be there for the contestants and encourage them to talk about some of the harder things that are embarrassing and hard to talk about," Sweeney said in the documentary. The show chronicled the journey of overweight contestants as they competed to lose weight and win a cash prize. The Biggest Loserfaced loads of criticism for its approach to weight loss. One of the most shocking components of the show was the temptation challenges, wherecontestantsfaced off to see who could eat the most calories in five minutes. Whichever participant won would receive a prize, which could include an extra training session before a weigh-in or an opportunity to see their family. "The temptation challenges were the hardest part of the show for me," theDays of Our Livesstar admitted. "It was horrible." TrainerBob Harpercalled the temptation challenges "so dumb" and placed blame on cocreator Dave Broome and executive producerJ.D. Rothfor allowing those types of challenges to see the light of day. In Episode 3, the documentary touched on the Season 15 controversy where trainerJillian Michaelsgave her team caffeine pills in order to have an advantage at the weigh-in. Leonardo DiCaprio reveals passing on this role as his 'biggest regret'New Foto - Leonardo DiCaprio reveals passing on this role as his 'biggest regret'

Leonardo DiCaprionot only feels younger than his current age of 50, but he also pines for a role he passed on when he was younger: Dirk Diggler. The Oscar-winning actor toldPaul Thomas Anderson, the director of the 1997 film "Boogie Nights," his "biggest regret" is not doing that film with Anderson. The actor had a good excuse in that he had already committed to the role of Jack Dawson in "Titanic," which became a blockbuster when it hit theaters the same year. DiCaprio does star in Anderson's newest film, "One Battle After Another," which hits theaters Sept. 26. A discussion between the two appears inthe September issue of Esquire. What to watch:Over 30 years after its debut, this classic film is dominating streaming When Anderson, whose other films include"Licorice Pizza"and"Phantom Thread,"asked DiCaprio if he had any career regrets, the actor said, according to the Esquire article, "I'll say it even though you're here: My biggest regret is not doing 'Boogie Nights.' It was a profound movie of my generation. I can't imagine anyone but Mark (Wahlberg) in it. When I finally got to see that movie, I just thought it was a masterpiece. It's ironic that you're the person asking that question, but it's true." In the film, Wahlberg's role is that of Diggler, who becomes a porn star in the 1970s adult film industry. In a commentary track that appears on the DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases of the film, Anderson said he wanted Wahlberg or DiCaprio to play Diggler after seeing their performances in "The Basketball Diaries," notes movie blogFilm School Rejects. Also in the Esquire interview,DiCaprio, who has beenknown to date much younger women, told Anderson he felt like he was 32 years old and "turned emotionally 35 last year." In the upcoming film, "One Battle After Another," DiCaprio plays a one-time revolutionary faced with rescuing his daughter, who has been captured by an alt-right group. Also appearing in the film are Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro. The film is his and Anderson's first together. "I've been wanting to work with you – Paul – for something like 20 years now, and I loved this idea of the washed-up revolutionary trying to erase his past and disappear and try and live some sort of normal life raising his daughter," DiCaprio told Anderson in their discussion. Discussing DiCaprio's role in the film, Anderson says, "He is a nice character, someone who starts out wanting to change the world on the far left but gets increasingly cranky and closed off as he gets older." Howie Roseman peels back curtain on how he pulled off draft-day trade with Titans for A.J. Brown in 2022New Foto - Howie Roseman peels back curtain on how he pulled off draft-day trade with Titans for A.J. Brown in 2022

Since the Philadelphia Eagles acquired now-three-time All-Pro receiver A.J. Brown through adraft-day tradewith the Tennessee Titans in 2022, they've made two Super Bowls in three seasons. Brown has collected his first ring as well as the the fourth-most receiving yards (4,031) and seventh-most receiving touchdowns (25) of any player in the NFL in that span. [Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2025 NFL season] Meanwhile, his old team, the Titans, has missed the playoff three times — after making the postseason each of Brown's three years in Tennessee — and tied a franchise record with 14 losses last year, posting the inverse record of the 14-win, Super Bowl-champion Eagles. Put simply, the Titans were the worst team in the league in 2024, and the Eagles were the best. Philadelphia's trade with Tennessee three years ago is aging like fine wine, and the architect behind it peeled back the curtain on how it went down. Coming off his second Super Bowl victory as Eagles general manager, Howie Roseman made anappearance on Thursday's episode of the "Bussin' With The Boys" podcast. Howie Roseman breaks down the inner workings behind the blockbuster AJ Brown tradepic.twitter.com/8TqK8GpViG — Bussin' With The Boys (@BussinWTB)August 14, 2025 Roseman explained his behind-the-scenes dialogue with then-Titans GM Jon Robinson, discourse that wasn't immediately privy to the rest of Roseman's war room on draft day. "The interesting thing was that we had the trade done, the terms agreed to in the morning, but we had to get a contract done with [A.J.]," Roseman said on the podcast. "At the time, we started with three first-round picks in that draft. We traded one for a future pick with New Orleans. Then we still had two. And basically I said, 'Jon, if we can't get a contract done, we can't do this trade. We can't trade you a one and a three for one year of a player. We got to get a contract done first.'" Roseman explained how the Eagles traded up to pick Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis with the No. 13 overall pick. They were due to pick again at No. 18. "Our contract's still not done," Roseman said, explaining the timing to "Bussin' With The Boys" co-hosts Taylor Lewan and Will Compton. "And Jon's like, 'Well, what are we doing? What's going on here?'" In between the Davis pick and the Eagles' next scheduled selection, Roseman had to reach a contract agreement with Brown so he could finalize the trade with Robinson. "Nobody knew except a couple people that we were even doing it because I said, 'Imagine this falls apart. I'm going to be the GM who can't get a deal done with A.J.?'" Roseman continued. Roseman said that the trade was finalized by about the No. 14 pick in the draft. That's when he turned to Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and head coach Nick Sirianni. "I said, 'We're going to surprise our room when we're on the clock. They don't know anything about it,'" Roseman recalled. "And so when we get ready to pick, I'm just going to say, 'Hey guys, we're picking A.J. Brown,' and they're all going to look at me, like 'What the f***'s going on?' But they're going to be excited as s***." Roseman added: "And so it was really fun. It was great energy. It was really like, I can't even get to five on the amount of people who knew in our building because of the contract situation." What was sold as a win-win deal at the time certainly didn't end that way. The Titans drafted receiver Treylon Burks with the first-round pick acquired in the Brown trade, thendealt the other pick to gain additional selections. Burks wasreleasedlast month, days after he suffered a broken collarbone at practice. He totaled just 53 catches, 699 receiving yards and 1 touchdown in 27 games over three seasons with the Titans, the last of which was derailed by an ACL injury. As for Robinson, he wasfireddays after the Eagles and Brown defeated his Titans in Week 13 of the 2022 season. Roseman struck a draft-day deal that was a steal in 2022 and is a marvel in 2024. Turns out, its origins make for a pretty good story, too.

Who knew that the beginning ofTaylor Swift's Eras Tourwould kick off another new era in a totally different part of American culture? Since she made her first appearance at aKansas City Chiefsgame nearly two years ago, the team has been reaping the benefits of its ownTaylor Swiftera. Chiefsprincipal owner Clark Hunt joined thePat McAfee Showon Friday, Aug. 15, and spoke on the effects that Swift's relationship with Chiefs tight endTravis Kelcehave had on the team. "It's been a whirlwind for the organization over the last two years since Taylor literally stepped into our lives," Hunt said. "She's done an amazing job, unintentionally, of increasing our female fanbase. We used to be about a 50/50 ratio, male to female fanbase, and now 57% of our fans are female, which I think is probably the highest in the National Football League. "So there's absolutely been aTaylor Swifteffect." "We're so happy for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift..They're an amazing couple and watching the two of them together is really special..There has absolutely been a Taylor Swift effect to the Chiefs Kingdom" ~ Clark Hunt#PMSLivepic.twitter.com/MSYSqSHM8X — Pat McAfee (@PatMcAfeeShow)August 15, 2025 HOW TRAVIS KELCE MET TAYLOR SWIFT:Friendship bracelets and 'Cupid' The Chiefs' Swiftie era can trace its roots back to the pop superstar's concert at Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023, with two concerts making up one of the earliest stops on her 149-show Eras Tour. Weeks after the tour stop in Kansas City, Kelce lamented on his and his brother's "New Heights" podcast that he wasn't able to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. Roughly two months later, Swift was spotted on the broadcast cheering on Kelce from a suite at her first Chiefs game. (Hunt said Friday she insisted on getting a"normal fan" experienceat that first game with no additional security – "she literally walked through the front door," he said. With fans largely expecting her to attend the Chiefs' home games, she has received heightened security from the team in the time since.) NANCY ARMOUR:Keep whining, insecure men. Taylor Swift isn't even thinking about you. According to analysis by marketing firm Apex Marketing, from September 2023 – when Swift attended that first game – through this past February – the date of the most recent Super Bowl –Swift brought in nearly $1 billionworth of publicity to the NFL. Swift's connection to the Chiefs means that Kansas City has undoubtedly gotten one of the largest pieces of that metaphorical pie – and the demographic shift that Hunt pointed out Friday certainly suggests that. To that end, Kelce's jersey sales spiked 400% overnight after Swift's first appearance at a Chiefs game, according to Fanatics, and Kelce, Swift and the Chiefs have not looked back in the time since that first outing. The singer has attended23 Chiefs games– including five playoff games and two Super Bowls – since the two began their relationship. On Wednesday, Swift made her first-everpodcast appearance on "New Heights"and spoke about her relationship with Kelce and her experience as a new Chiefs fan. The episode had a record-setting 1.3 million concurrent viewers during its YouTube premiere and now has 15 million views (and counting) on the video streaming site as of Friday afternoon.
