Scott Wolf breaks silence on 'difficult' divorce saga, says Kelley Wolf made 'baseless' false allegations about him

TheParty of Fivestar said that his ex made "deeply disturbing" false allegations about his treatment of their children. He also shared alleged text messages from Kelley that claimed her allegations were false. Scott Wolfis speaking out about the complexity of his divorce from Kelley Wolf. TheParty of Fivestar made astatement to PEOPLE, which was confirmed byEntertainment Weekly, expressing that his "continued hope is to have this most difficult chapter of our family's lives remain as private as possible, however, the well being of my children is at stake, and that will always be my priority." Wolf, who has not publicly commented on his split from theReal Worldalum since the ex-couple first announced their divorce in June, said that he was prompted to comment on the matter because his ex allegedly made "false allegations" about him. "There are some significant challenges that are making our situation incredibly difficult and contentious, and it is tragic for all involved," Wolf's statement said. "I was informed of some deeply disturbing and entirely false allegations that were made about me by my estranged wife." A representative for Kelley Wolf did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment. Kelley Wolf told PEOPLE that she did not think her ex-husband was actually a threat to her family. "I will be very clear when I say this: I don't believe that Scott would [abuse our children]," she told the outlet. "I've lost my career, my reputation, my children, my integrity, my honor, my devotion to my marriage. As a parent, I have literally lost everything except my life. I've done everything strategic, and I'm hopeful for my children." Scott Wolf explained the complexity of the situation in his statement to the same outlet. "I am now choosing to come forward and share that she has described to me her plans to 'make claims' about me, although she also admitted, 'I do not believe they're true,' in order to gain an advantage in what she sees as a 'battle' in court, and in the court of public opinion," the actor said. "In order to protect my kids, I am providing the text messages she sent to me where she describes this plan, so there are no questions about her intentions, or the malicious intent behind her false allegations made and/or planned for the future." Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage Kelley's alleged text messages, which were reviewed by PEOPLE, outlined her supposed plans to make allegations of "psychological abuse, child abuse, child endangerment, [and] stealing with passports" about her husband. The messages note that she "was advised to make claims that are possible, even though I do not believe they're true nor would I ever say them to anyone." However, Kelley did make some of those claims against Scott in a July 26 911 call, which was also reviewed by PEOPLE. Kelley's alleged text messages claimed that she planned to make allegations against her ex-husband after he filed fora restraining orderin June. "When you accused me of all the things you put in the restraining order, you made me into a villain," she allegedly wrote. "The only way I can fight back is to produce claims that are either the same as yours or greater." Scott reiterated the alleged claims' falseness in his statement. "Although her claims are completely baseless and incredibly dangerous, the worst part is that they are traumatic for our children," the actor said. "I hope that anyone who might speak publicly or report on such things, will consider this before spreading any further information from a clearly unreliable and completely compromised source." The Wolfs firstannounced their splitin June after 21 years of marriage. "It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage," Kelley wrote on Instagram at the time. "This has been a long, quiet journey for me—rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children. While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I've done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion." On Aug. 18, 1977, his body was transported to nearby Forest Hill Cemetery, where his mother,Gladys Presley, who died in 1958, was also interred. His coffin weighed 900 pounds, perRolling Stone. It was carried by six people into the mausoleum: road manager Joe Esposito, members of Elvis' entourage, and Dr. George Nichopoulos. However, less than two weeks later, on August 29, it was revealed that four men had plotted to steal the entertainer's body and hold it for ransom.The New York Timesreported the men were arrested after what was called a "trial run" of the thievery. Presley's father,Vernon Presley,asked if the bodies of his son and wife could be laid to rest safely in Graceland's backyard and petitioned to have the grounds zoned for burial. Ultimately, on Sept. 28, 1977, legal permission was given to relocate the remains of mother and son to Graceland. On Oct. 2, thebodies were movedto their final resting place. They were interred in the Meditation Garden, originally constructed in 1964 as Presley's private home retreat. The first person to be buried was Elvis, followed by his mother, Gladys. In 1979, Vernon was buried beside his son. One year later,Minnie Mae Presley, Elvis' grandmother, was interred opposite Elvis' grave. The king's only grandson,Benjamin Keough, died in 2020. His remains were placed in an above-ground tomb directly across from his grandfather's grave. In January 2023,Lisa Marie Presleywas interred beside her son, also in an above-ground vault. HOUSTON (AP) — C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown pass in limited work in his preseason debut to help the Houston Texans to a 20-3 win over the Carolina Panthers on Saturday. Stroud, who sat out in last week's20-10 loss at Minnesota, played two series Saturday, going 6 for 8 for 44 yards. The Texans punted on their first possession before Stroud connected with Nico Collins on a 5-yard touchdown pass on fourth down to cap the second drive and make it 7-0. Collins is coming off consecutive 1,000-yard seasons after he led the Texans with 68 receptions for 1,006 yards and seven touchdowns despite missing five games with an injury. Nick Chubb ran five times for 25 yards in his Texans' debut after spending his first seven seasons in Cleveland. Chubb played with the starters with Joe Mixon out recovering from a foot injury he sustained this offseason. Stroud, who has led the Texans to the postseason in both of his first two seasons, has a new offensive coordinator this year in Nick Caley after the former Patriots and Rams assistant was hired this offseason following the firing of Bobby Slowik. Carolina's Bryce Young,the first overall pick in the 2023 draft when Stroud was taken second,failed to move the offense in two drives. He was 0 for 2 and was sacked once Saturday after directing the offense for two drives with a TD pass in last week's30-10 loss to Cleveland. Andy Dalton replaced him and was 2 of 4 for 22 yards before leaving with a right elbow injury. Rookie Ryan Fitzgerald's 52-yard field goal cut the lead to 7-3 about two minutes before halftime. Ka'imi Fairbairn made a 41-yard field goal just before halftime and added a 35-yard kick early in the third quarter to push the lead to 13-3. The Texans intercepted third-string quarterback Jack Plummer on consecutive drives in the second half. Damon Arnette grabbed the second one and three plays later the Texans made it 20-3 when British Brooks scored on a 1-yard run. Arnette, a first-round pick in 2020, is attempting a comeback after his career was derailed by legal troubles and he played just 13 games over two seasons before being released by the Raiders. He hasn't appeared in a regular-season NFL game since 2021 and last played for the UFL's Houston Roughnecks. Sitting out Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn didn't play because of a thumb injury and left guard Damien Lewis also sat out because of a shoulder injury. LOS ANGELES (AP) — Things sure have changed since the last time the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers clashed, back in June. The Dodgers were running away in the NL West then with a nine-game lead. The Padres were in third place. Now, with 1 1/2 months left in the season, it's all tied up. San Diego came into Dodger Stadium on Friday night with a one-game lead over the defending World Series champions. It's the latest the Padres had led the division since September 2010 and the first time the Dodgers had been out of first this late in the season since Aug. 18, 2021. By the time it was over,the Dodgers won 3-2to snap a four-game skid and gain a tie for first. "We just played some bad games and we're fine moving forward," winning pitcher Clayton Kershaw said. The Padres' five-game winning streak ended. "The only day in the standings that ultimately matters is the last day of the season," Padres manager Mike Shildt said before the game, "but we've played good baseball and we feel good where we're at." The last time the Padres won the NL West was in 2006, when their leadoff hitter was current Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. "The reality is we got here by putting emphasis on every day being the most important day of the season and that's not going to change from my seat," Shildt said. The Dodgers had been in first every day since April 27, but injuries, pitching woes and lack of offensive punch have derailed them. "It just takes one to get going," Kershaw said, "and hopefully this was it for us." Ever the optimist, Roberts is keeping the faith in his lineup. "They just got to go out there and take good at-bats," he said. "They're motivated. I don't like to be embarrassed, I don't think our players do, so this series I'm expecting kind of high intensity and high performance." The teams meet five more times over the next nine days. "The division isn't won or lost in the next 10 days but it will make an impact and we know that," Kershaw said. "We just got to keep playing. You can't put any more or any less on it. Hopefully, our talent and our team will take over, which we know it will." The series opener Friday was devoid of thefireworks that occurred in June, when the Dodgers took five of seven games during the teams' first two series. Ten batters were hit, including Padres slugger Fernando Tatis Jr. three times. The last time cleared the benches. Roberts and Shildt were ejected following a tense back-and-forth exchange. This time, Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia hit Jose Iglesias and Jake Cronenworth back-to-back to open the eighth, but there was no retribution by the Padres. "It was a high intensity game but it was certainly kind of tempered as far as internally," Roberts said afterward, "but I think that I could see it as far as on the field. I could feel it. Our focus was keen." Roberts said beforehand that he and Shildt had not spoken since the contretemps. "I'm past it," Roberts said before the game. "I just want us to play well." Shildt said, "I'm not a grudge guy. I'm not a carry things over. I'm more of a day-to-day guy. Go and treat people with respect." Shildt and Roberts shook hands while exchanging lineup cards .
