Jack Osbourneis addressing some less-than-kind remarksRoger Watersmade about his late father,Ozzy Osbourne. In August, the 81-year-old Pink Floyd founding member sat down for an interview with the YouTube channelThe Independent Inkand critiqued the former Black Sabbath frontman and his music. "Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life. We'll never know," the English singer-songwriter remarked. "Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense." "The music, I have no idea. I couldn't give a f**k. I don't care about Black Sabbath, I never did," Waters admitted. "I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn't care less." The interviewer corrected Waters in that the "Paranoid" singer accidentally bit the head off a bat, not a chicken, at a concert in Des Moines, Iowa back in the 1980s. Following Waters' comments, Jack, 39,came to his dad's defenseand fired back via social media on Tuesday, September 2. "Hey @rogerwaters. F**k You. How pathetic and out of touch you've become," Jack wrote on his Instagram Story. "The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls**t in the press." "My father always thought you were a c**t — thanks for proving him right," he added alongside a clown face emoji. In a second Instagram Story,The Osbournesalum wrote "#f**krogerwaters." NBA says it will open investigation into report that Clippers broke cap rules with Leonard dealNew Foto - NBA says it will open investigation into report that Clippers broke cap rules with Leonard deal

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The NBA said Wednesday that it will investigate if a $28 million endorsement contract between Kawhi Leonard and a California-based sustainability services company allowed the Los Angeles Clippers to circumvent league salary cap rules, following a report by journalist Pablo Torre. The Clippers strongly denied that any rules were broken and said they welcomed the league's investigation. The probe will focus on ties between Leonard, the Clippers and a company called Aspiration Fund Adviser, LLC, which filed for bankruptcy this year. It listed several creditors at that time, among them the Clippers (who were owed about $30 million) and a company called KL2 Aspire LLC that was owed $7 million. Leonard is listed as the manager of that company in California filings. KL is his initials, and 2 is his jersey number. Emails sent to his listed representatives seeking comment Wednesday were not immediately returned. "We are aware of this morning's media report regarding the LA Clippers and are commencing an investigation," NBA spokesman Mike Bass said Wednesday. Clippers owner Steve Ballmer made a $50 million investment in Aspiration, and the company and the team announced a $300 million partnership in September 2021. That was about a month after Leonard signed a four-year, $176 million extension with the Clippers. The team ended its relationship with Aspiration after two years, saying the contract was in default. "Neither the Clippers nor Steve Ballmer circumvented the salary cap," the team said. "The notion that Steve invested in Aspiration in order to funnel money to Kawhi Leonard is absurd. Steve invested because Aspiration's co-founders presented themselves as committed to doing right by their customers while protecting the environment. "After a long campaign of market manipulation, which defrauded not only Steve but numerous other investors and sports teams, Aspiration filed for bankruptcy. ... Neither Steve nor the Clippers had knowledge of any improper activity by Aspiration or its co-founder until after the government initiated its investigation." Aspiration's co-founder, Joseph Sanberg, agreed to plead guilty last month after facing federal charges of wire fraud. Prosecutors said he defrauded investors and lenders out of $248 million, adding that "Aspiration's financial statements were inaccurate and reflected much higher revenue than the company in fact received." Torre, in his reporting, obtained a copy of the endorsement agreement between Aspiration and KL2 Aspire, one that called for Leonard to be paid $7 million annually for four years. Given that timetable, Leonard still would have been owed the final $7 million at the time of Aspiration's bankruptcy filing. There is no evidence that Leonard did anything to publicly endorse Aspiration. "There is nothing unusual or untoward about team sponsors doing endorsement deals with players on the same team," the Clippers said. "Neither Steve nor the Clippers organization had any oversight of Kawhi's independent endorsement agreement with Aspiration. To say otherwise is flat-out wrong." The league — which previously looked into claims that Leonard's representatives asked for certain things that would be considered cap circumventions when he was a free agent several years ago — can issue stiff penalties if cap rules are found to have been broken by a team, including a fine of up to $7.5 million, the voiding of contracts and the forfeiture of future draft picks. ___ AP NBA:https://apnews.com/hub/nba

Anthony Rizzo's World Series Ring Was Lost in Lake Michigan — Until a Swimmer Somehow Found ItNew Foto - Anthony Rizzo's World Series Ring Was Lost in Lake Michigan — Until a Swimmer Somehow Found It

Jennifer Stewart/MLB Photos via Getty; Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports Anthony Rizzo reportedly dropped his World Series ring in Lake Michigan and it was retreived by a professional diver who found it at the bottom The MLB star was awarded the ring after his former team, the Chicago Cubs, won the 2016 World Series over the Cleveland Guardians Rizzo, who last played professionally with the New York Yankees in the 2024 MLB season, has yet to comment on the ring incident Anthony Rizzodropped the ball (ehem, ring). The baseball star, 36, allegedly lost his World Series ring in Lake Michigan before it was ultimately retrieved by professional diver Yohei Yamada, who recalled the incident when speaking withBlock Club Chicago. According to Yamada, the first baseman — who was playing for the Chicago Cubs when they won the World Series in 2016 — accidentally lost his ring in the Great Lake because it didn't fit him anymore. "Rizzo had lost weight and washed his hands in his boat. He shook them dry, and the ring flew off," Yamada told the outlet during the interview published on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports Then, Yamada said that "somebody gave him my number" and the diver — who built a living on reuniting boaters with valuables that they've dropped into Lake Michigan — got to work. "Rings are the hardest to find, but the phones are everywhere," he shared, adding, "They work after three days in the water, so it's worth it. … If I'm already suited up, I'll go get it for $100." Per the outlet, Rizzo reportedly gave Yamada "a few dry $100 bills" as a generous tip for retrieving the valuable from the bottom of the lake. Gregory Shamus/Getty The MLB star has yet to comment on the World Series ring incident at Lake Michigan. Rizzo is currently a free agent, and last played for the New York Yankees during the 2024 season. In January, the baseball player announced that he and his wife, Emily, areexpecting their first babytogether. They shared the exciting news onInstagramwith the help of their dog. "Kev dog is gonna be a big brother!!!!" he captioned his post, tagging the pup in the post and added a series of blue heart emojis. Anthony Rizzo Instagram His then-Yankees teammate, slugger Aaron Judge, commented on the post, writing, "Let's goo." Yankees outfielder Alex Verdugo also sent his well wishes, adding, "Dad Gang!!!🔥🔥." While there's no official announcement on Rizzo's Instagram page of their baby's arrival, the athlete posted acarousel of imagesin late August featuring two two pictures of what appears to be their latest addition to their family. "A balancing act," he simply captioned the post. Read the original article onPeople

Inside Madonna and Sean Penn's Star-Studded 1985 Beach Wedding: Who Was There and What They WoreNew Foto - Inside Madonna and Sean Penn's Star-Studded 1985 Beach Wedding: Who Was There and What They Wore

People; Laura Luongo/Liaison Madonna and Sean Penn wed in an extravagant ceremony in Malibu in 1985, which was disrupted by swirling helicopters full of photographers The bride wore a custom gown designed by her Like a Virgin tour designer, while Penn wore an off-the-rack Versace suit After the vows, guests ate food from Spago and danced to hits that included Madonna's own song "Into the Groove" Forty years ago, the talk of the town in Hollywood was all aboutMadonnaandSean Penn'swildbeach weddingin Malibu. In August 1985, PEOPLE did a cover story on the Aug. 16 event (Madonna's 27th birthday; Penn had just turned 25), including details about who was there, what the guests ate and what the bride and groom wore. Despite a sea of helicopters overhead, security was tight leading up to the ceremony. At the huge wooden gates at real-estate developer Dan Unger's $6.5 million home, guards oversaw an I.D. check of all who entered, while other security guards armed themselves with infrared binoculars to scan the perimeter for intruders. (They found one interloper, an Italian photographer, who had been hiding in the shrubbery since 1:30 a.m.) Despite the overhead interruptions, the day was still incredibly romantic as 220 friends, family and colleagues joined Madonna's seven brothers and sisters, her 73-year-old grandmother, the groom's family and friends like Rosanna Arquette, Christopher Walken,Carrie Fisher, Andy Warhol, Diane Keaton and Tom Cruise. Barry King/WireImage For the nuptials, guests stood around a poolside setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Shortly before 6:30 p.m., Penn appeared in a double-breasted $695 Gianni Versace suit he had bought off the rack one week earlier on Rodeo Drive. Barry King/WireImage Madonna came out wearing a strapless Cinderella gown created by her"Like a Virgin"tour designer and video image-maker, Marlene Stewart. Her hair was in a classic French twist and covered with a black bowler draped in cream-colored tulle. Though at the time she was known for wearing a stack of bangles on her arms and giant crucifix necklaces, for jewelry, she opted for a single long earring and an antique pearl bracelet. Draped across her dress like a beauty contestant's sash was a silver-and-pink silk metallic net, dripping with encrusted jewels, pearls and dried roses. "We wanted a '50s feeling," designer Stewart would say later, "something Grace Kelly might have worn."Madonna walked down the aisle on the arm of her father to the song "Moments of Love." Actor James Foley was Penn's best man, while Madonna's sister Paula was the maid of honor. The couple exchanged vows in a five-minute ceremony conducted by Judge John Merrick. Penn then lifted his wife's veil and, to the accompaniment of the theme from Chariots of Fire, planted a kiss on her and sparked a standing ovation. AP Photo/Doug Pizac After the vows, waiters rushed out with trays of Cristal champagne and sushi, as Malcolm McLaren's "Madame Butterfly" blared from loudspeakers. Moments later, the newlyweds appeared on a balcony. Penn toasted "the most beautiful woman in the world," and struggled playfully to remove her garter for the obligatory toss. The partygoers then adjourned to a white open-air tent and a feast prepared by Spago restaurant: a five-tier hazelnut wedding cake with sugar flowers, lobster ravioli, rack of lamb, swordfish and baked potatoes stuffed with sour cream and caviar. Table wines included an Acacia Pinot Noir from California's Madonna Vineyard. As evening fell, guests moved to a parquet dance floor set up over the tennis courts and lit with pink floodlights. Disc jockey Terence Toy opened with a swing-era tape, then switched to livelier fare — Motown's greatest dance tunes and Madonna's own "Into the Groove." The bride danced with her usual enthusiasm, even lifting her layered skirt during one fast-moving number to reveal a flowered-brocade slip underneath. At about 10:00 p.m., the get-together began its slow dissolve. "It was all very intimate, except for those obnoxious helicopters," departing Susan Seidelman, director ofDesperately Seeking Susan, told PEOPLE at the time. "A very classy affair," said another guest. "Like Tiffany's with just a dash of flash." DMI/The LIFE Picture Collection/Shutterstock Madonna and Penn's love story had initially surprised plenty of people in the industry. Penn, who'd made a name for himself acting in films likeFast Times at Ridgemont HighandThe Falcon and the Snowman, was notoriously camera-wary and had routinely refused interviews. When he wasn't working, he was usually club hopping with the Brat Packers and actors Timothy Hutton, Emilio Estevez and Cruise. However, when he met Madonna during the taping of her "Material Girl" video, he was smitten. He told his wedding guests that he'd been looking at a book of quotations while hanging with a friend, picked it up and turned to a random page, and read the following: "'She had the innocence of a child and the wit of a man.' I looked at my friend, and he just said, 'Go get her.' The courtship had its rocky moments, but friends at the time said their love was the real deal. "I've never seen two more passionate people. Forget about the superstar stuff; Madonna is a girl wildly in love," a friend of Madonna's told PEOPLE. After the wedding, they had plans to build a spacious estate in Malibu that would be beyond private. The couple divorced in 1989, though Madonna later reflected on her feelings for Penn in her 1991 documentaryTruth or Dare, calling him "The love of her life." They went on to remain good friends. Pro Picks: Eagles will beat the Cowboys by double digits to kick off the NFL seasonNew Foto - Pro Picks: Eagles will beat the Cowboys by double digits to kick off the NFL season

The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles face their bitter divisional rival in the NFL season opener on Thursday night in a matchup that's lost a little luster. Why? Micah Parsons won't be there chasing Jalen Hurts, pursuing Saquon Barkley and making life difficult for left tackle Jordan Mailata. The Dallas Cowboys traded the two-time All-Pro pass rusher to the Green Bay Packers last week following a contract dispute. Dak Prescott returns for the Cowboys and George Pickens joins CeeDee Lamb to give them another playmaking wide receiver. But how will the Cowboys stop Philadelphia's dynamic offense without Parsons? Jerry Jones got his run-stuffer in the trade with Green Bay. Maybe Kenny Clark helps limit Barkley to under 200 yards rushing. If there's no pressure on Hurts, he can pick apart the defense throwing to A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. The Eagles are 8 1/2-point favorites, according to BetMGM Sportsbook. Pro Picks likes the champs even though Prescott is 9-4 vs. Philadelphia. EAGLES: 31-20 Cincinnati at Cleveland Line: Bengals minus 5 1/2 Joe Burrow and the Bengals need to start better than they have in the past. He's 8-11-1 in Weeks 1-4. The Browns are turning to Joe Flacco while Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders wait in the wings. They should be in the mix for the No. 1 pick next season. Best Bet: BENGALS: 27-16 Las Vegas at New England Line: Patriots minus 2 1/2 Mike Vrabel's Patriots face Pete Carroll's Raiders as both teams debut new head coaches. Drake Maye has a new playmaker in Stefon Diggs. QB Geno Smith and rookie RB Ashton Jeanty join TE Brock Bowers to instantly upgrade Las Vegas' offense. UPSET SPECIAL: RAIDERS: 23-20 Kansas City vs. Los Angeles Chargers, in Brazil Line:Chiefsminus 3 Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have something to prove after a 17-win season ending with a lopsided loss to the Eagles in the Super Bowl. The Chargers drafted running back Omarion Hampton in the first round to take pressure off Justin Herbert. They were 9-0 when they had more than 100 yards rushing last season. The Chiefs had the eighth-best run defense, giving up 101.8 yards per game. CHIEFS: 26-20 Arizona at New Orleans Line: Cardinals minus 6 1/2 Kyler Murray has one winning season as Arizona's starting QB, but the Cardinals have a chance to compete in the NFC West after an 8-9 season. They were 11-6 against the spread. The rebuilding Saints under rookie coach Kellen Moore are starting a rebuild. CARDINALS: 23-17 Carolina at Jacksonville Line: Jaguars minus 3 1/2 The Liam Coen era begins in Jacksonville. Can he unlock Trevor Lawrence's potential? Bryce Young and the Panthers finished up strong last season. They're aiming to take another step forward. The matchup features the NFL's two worst defenses in 2024. JAGUARS: 27-20 Tampa Bay at Atlanta Line: Buccaneers minus 2 1/2 Baker Mayfield and the four-time defending NFC South champion Buccaneers couldn't beat the Falcons last season so they've got something to prove. Michael Penix Jr. watched from the sideline as Kirk Cousins threw for 785 yards and eight TDs vs. Tampa Bay. The Falcons will feature Bijan Robinson but the Buccaneers were fourth against the run. BUCCANEERS: 26-23 New York Giants at Washington Line: Commanders minus 6 Jayden Daniels and the Commanders are building off a surprise, impressive run to the NFC championship game. It wasn't a fluke. Russell Wilson makes his debut with the Giants, whose strength is their defensive line. COMMANDERS: 23-20 Pittsburgh at New York Jets Line: Steelers minus 3 Aaron Rodgers faces his former team and the new coach, Aaron Glenn, who didn't want him. Justin Fields faces his former team that let him walk away in free agency. STEELERS: 20-19 Miami at Indianapolis Line: Colts minus 1 Daniel Jones makes his first start for the Colts, who have lost 10 of their past 11 season openers. Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins aim to bounce back from a losing season. He could look for Tyreek Hill often against a defense that was 26th against the pass. DOLPHINS: 24-17 San Francisco at Seattle Line: 49ers minus 2 1/2 Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and the 49ers are healthier and motivated after a disastrous season. They're still missing key players and lost several defensive starters. Sam Darnold takes over for the Seahawks, who missed the playoffs despite winning 10 games. 49ERS: 23-20 Tennessee at Denver Line: Broncos minus 8 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward makes his first career start for the rebuilding Titans. They're facing a tough defense and a balanced offense led by Bo Nix. BRONCOS: 27-13 Houston at Los Angeles Rams Line: Rams minus 3 C.J. Stroud and the Texans are underdogs in a matchup of 2024 division winners. Matthew Stafford dealt with a back injury in the preseason and has to face a fierce defense in the opener. TEXANS: 23-21 Detroit at Green Bay Line: Packers minus 2 1/2 The 15-win Lions are underdogs in the opener after a disappointing end to the best season in franchise history. Their dynamic offense is back together minus offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, who left to coach the Bears. Parsons elevated the Packers to Super Bowl contenders. After sitting out the preseason in Dallas, he has to be careful not to overdo it in his first game. PACKERS: 24-23 Baltimore at Buffalo Line: Ravens minus 1 1/2 Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are looking to avenge a playoff loss in Buffalo in a matchup that should have playoff ramifications from a home-field advantage standpoint. Reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen and the Bills have won 10 straight home games. Both teams have failed to dethrone the Chiefs in recent years and neither will be satisfied with anything less than a Super Bowl. BILLS: 26-23 Minnesota at Chicago Line: Vikings minus 1 1/2 There's excitement in Chicago surrounding Johnson taking over the Bears. Can he develop Caleb Williams as he did Jared Goff? J.J. McCarthy makes his first career start for the talented Vikings, who are coming off a 14-win season. Vikings 24-20 ___ 2024 Record: Overall: Straight up: 202-83. Against spread: 151-129-5. Chiefs trek to Brazil with eye on extending dominance of ChargersNew Foto - Chiefs trek to Brazil with eye on extending dominance of Chargers

Bold is the theme on defense for the Kansas City Chiefs as the 2025 season begins in a rare Week 1 setting -- and with a division rival waiting -- as Friday night lights and the NFL come to South America. The Chiefs beat Jim Harbaugh and the AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers twice last season on the way to 15 wins and the top seed in the conference, falling short in a three-peat bid with a Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in February. This week, the Chiefs begin a march they hope ends with another shot at the Lombardi Trophy on foreign soil in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Being a first-time visitor to the country, All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones views Week 1 as a celebration of Kansas City's success -- and a big test. Primarily of the Chiefs' readiness, but also of Jones' tourist acumen. He said he's bringing two TVs -- a new LG model that can be checked -- and a serious appetite with fingers crossed he's permitted to sample plenty of the culinary options. "I think it's sweet we get to play internationally first game of the season," Jones said. "That's a challenge for us as a team. Division rivalry. We also get a chance to test where we're at." If Jones is fixated on feijoada, then the Chargers would be glad to serve a Week 1 upset and end a seven-game losing streak to the Chiefs. The Chargers featured one of the NFL's best defenses last year in Harbaugh's first season as their head coach, then invested in multiple running backs in the offseason to further his preferred old-school approach. After signing Najee Harris in free agency, the Chargers used a first-round pick to select Omarion Hampton. Known for his speed, Hampton wowed Harbaugh with his vision and ability to pick through traffic in the preseason. Harris missed training camp and preseason due to a July 4 eye injury, but Harbaugh said after Wednesday's walk-through in Brazil that Harris will play. "He says he's ready, and he looks ready to go," Harbaugh said. Harbaugh has zero concerns with his backfield in general. He said he believes Justin Herbert's biggest weakness lies in coaches and teammates failing to reach the quarterback's level. "Everything he does -- conditioning, everything -- it's too easy (for him). You have to try to pull him back," Harbaugh said. "It's clear and obvious, all of us have to pick it up to get on his level." Herbert had 23 touchdowns and three interceptions in his first season under Harbaugh. The Chiefs surrendered two total TD passes and sacked him five times in their two 2024 meetings. Five weeks after reporting to training camp, Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo said he can sense energy on the rise for a "quote-unquote real game." Spagnuolo gave new cornerback Kristian Fulton, a free-agent addition from the Chargers who practiced daily against Ladd McConkey last year, the floor at the first defensive meeting of the week to stress the importance of knowing McConkey's whereabouts and how he impacts the Los Angeles game plan. "The first slide I put up last week said, 'All 22 need to be aware of where 15 is,'" Spagnuolo said of placing McConkey on the top of the scouting report this week. "I asked the guys if (they) knew what we mean. It meant all 22 eyeballs. Every one of them, the D-line included, need to know where he is. We feel that strongly. That's going to be a major, major focus." McConkey had 1,346 yards and 91 receptions between the regular season and playoffs last season to set team records. He'll be Herbert's lead target even with Keenan Allen back in the fold after one season in Chicago. Allen owns the Chargers' franchise marks with 904 receptions and 10,530 yards in the uniform. With Rashee Rice suspended for six weeks by the NFL, the pecking order at wide receiver is not as clear for the Chiefs. Xavier Worthy, a first-round pick in 2024, developed into the No. 1 option for Patrick Mahomes in 2024 with the speed to get deep. Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Tyquan Thornton, and rookie fourth-round pick Jalen Royals are the other options for Kansas City, along with tight end Travis Kelce. Reid said Brown (foot, ankle) was able to "do everything" in practice on Tuesday while Royals (knee) remained out. No NFL team has matched Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' level in the past decade. Kansas City has won nine AFC West titles in a row and played in the Super Bowl five of the past six seasons. Their 19-17 win over the Chargers on Dec. 8 clinched the division title last season. In 12 career games against the Chargers, Mahomes has 3,270 passing yards and 27 touchdowns with seven interceptions. He's only thrown more TD passes against one opponent: the Raiders (33). His last loss to the Chargers came in 2021: A 30-24 defeat with three TDs and two interceptions. "We have a lot of motivation going into this season," said Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis. "Prove some people right -- prove some people wrong. Fired up and super excited to get this thing started and prove what we got and prove what we are made of." --Field Level Media

'Ketamine Queen' pleads guilty in Matthew Perry's overdose deathNew Foto - 'Ketamine Queen' pleads guilty in Matthew Perry's overdose death

The Los Angeles woman known as the "Ketamine Queen" pleaded guilty Wednesday to five federal counts in connection withthe fatal overdoseof "Friends" actor Matthew Perry in 2023, a court spokesman said. Jasveen Sangha, 42, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California to one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of distribution of ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury. Sangha, a dual citizen of the United States and the U.K. who has been in federal custody since August 2024, faces a maximum prison sentence of 65 years, prosecutors said last month ina news release. She is set to be sentenced on Dec. 10. "She's taking responsibility for her actions," Mark Geragos, Sangha's attorney, said in a brief statement last month after prosecutors announced that she had agreed to plead guilty. Perry was found face down in the heated end of his pool at his Los Angeles home on Oct. 28, 2023. He was 54. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office attributed his death to an accidental overdose of ketamine, a hallucinogenic anesthetic that in recent years has gained popularity as an off-label, unregulated treatment for depression. Perry, best known for playing Chandler Bing on "Friends," spoke openly about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, chronicling some of those experiences in the 2022 memoir "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing." In his final months, Perry had been undergoing ketamine infusion therapy to treat depression and anxiety. But he sought unsupervised doses, developing a dependence on the drug that was"spiraling out of control,"leading up to his death, prosecutors have said. The medical examiner's office said the amount of ketamine found in his body was equivalent to the amount used in general anesthesia. Sangha worked with a man named Erik Fleming to give ketamine to Perry, prosecutors have said, citing Sangha's plea agreement. In the month of Perry's death, Sangha and Fleming sold Perry 51 vials of ketamine and provided them to Kenneth Iwamasa, his live-in personal assistant, according to prosecutors. Iwamasa repeatedly injected Perry with the ketamine leading up to the fatal overdose, prosecutors have said — including at least three shots on the day he was found dead. Sangha called Fleming on the encrypted messaging application Signal after having learned from news reports that Perry had died, according to prosecutors. "Delete all our messages," Sangha instructed Fleming. Fleming pleaded guilty in August 2024 to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death. Iwamasa pleaded guilty the same month to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death.

Seth Meyers reacts to Donald Trump's "Late Night" criticisms: 'It's kind of nice'

Lloyd Bishop/NBC via Getty; Aaron Schwartz/CNP/Bloomberg via Getty Seth Meyersis looking on the bright side after becoming the latest late-night host to get unexpectedly skewered byDonald Trumpon social media. TheLate Nighthost was congratulated for "finally getting on Trump's radar" by guestKumail Nanjianion Tuesday. "For weeks, he was picking on[Jimmy] Fallonand[Jimmy] Kimmeland[Stephen] Colbertand I was like, 'What's a girl gotta do?'" Nanjiani remarked as Meyers laughed. "Because you talk about him, too!" Lloyd Bishop/NBC via Getty TheEternalsstar then pulled out his phone and notified Meyers that he would be reading the president's rant in its entirety to him and the audience. "Oh, that's very nice of you, thanks," Meyers deadpanned as the crowd laughed. The 51-year-old presenter could be seen smiling and nodding along as Nanjiani read Trump's rant aloud, which in part labeled him an "insecure child" and claimed that his late-night program had "no ratings" whatsoever. "What I love about it is that he called Colbert untalented. He called Kimmel even less talented than Colbert. And then he called Fallon insecure," Nanjiani explained. "And for you, he combined all three!" Meyers took the president's remarks in stride. "Yeah! It's kind of nice," he said. "In a way, it's almost like he's saying, 'You know, he's got something for everybody.'" He then quickly steered the conversation toward Nanjiani's career. Last week, the president took to Truth Social in the middle of the night to share that he'd heard a "sick rumor" that Meyers'Late Nightcontract had been renewed. "There is a sick rumor going around that Fake News NBC extended the contract of one of the least talented Late Night television hosts out there, Seth Meyers," the septuagenarian wrote. "He has no Ratings, Talent, or Intelligence, and the Personality of an insecure child. So, why would Fake News NBC extend this dope's contract. I don't know, but I'll definitely be finding out!!!" Trump'sLate Nightcomments were especially perplexing at the time givenDeadline had already reportedwell over a year ago that NBC had extended Meyers' contract through 2028. Meyers, like many other late-night hosts, often pokes fun at Trump and his administration, especially in his "A Closer Look" segment. Trump has repeatedly lashed out at a group of late-night hosts over the last two months. The formerApprenticehost began his feud against late-night by gloating overThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert's surprise cancellation, writing, "I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert!" He reiterated his claim thatKimmel would be "next to go" after Colbertin a subsequent post, claiming that Fallon would be following shortly after them both over atThe Tonight Show. However, like Meyers, NBC hasalready renewed Fallon's contract until 2028. Watch Meyers address the president's comments in the clip above. Read the original article onEntertainment Weekly
