90s British rock legends confirm first album in 24 years with surprise announcement leaving fans hysterical
A beloved 90s Britpop band have announced the release of a new album (Picture:Michael Putland/ Getty Images)After a nearly 25-year hiatus, Pulp have dropped a new single and announced a new album. The English rock band were formed in Sheffield in 1978, with the band members at the height of their popularity being Jarvis Cocker, Russell Senior, Candida Doyle, Nick Banks, Steve Mackey and Mark Webber. After struggling to find success in the 1980s, they then grew in popularity in the mid-1990s, firstly with their1994 album His 'n' Hers, which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.
