On Monday, July 7, the singer, 37, announced on Instagram that her cancer had not spread following her mastectomy. In the clip, Jessie taught her son how to say, "Mommy's gonna be okay," which he sweetly repeated. You are my biggest ray of light and with you in my life the darkness will never win. ☁️🌞" Jessie then went on to say that she was due to have one more breast reconstructive surgery following surgery to remove one of her breasts. "Lots of healing to go and one more surgery to make these cousins look more like sisters. Speaking about her recovery journey, Jessie added, "It's still uncomfortable" and "a little painful," but she said that she could "handle that," adding that she had been doing recovery exercises and "trying to eat super clean."
