Arturo Holmes/Getty Lil Nas Xhas been booked into a Los Angeles County jail and charged with a misdemeanor on an allegation of assaulting a police officer during an early-morning incident on Thursday. The booking report, whichEntertainment Weeklyhas reviewed, indicates that the singer, whose real name is Montero Hill, was charged with a misdemeanor and booked at 11:22 a.m. local time, after first being arrested at 6:10 a.m. Thursday. As EW previously reported, the arrest occurred afterLil Nas X was allegedly seen roaming the streets of L.A. nearly nudein only his underwear and boots in the early hours of the morning, after which he was hospitalized for a possible overdose. According to TMZ, who first reported the news, multiple sightings of the singer initially prompted several concerned people in the area to contact the Los Angeles Police Department, who arrived to find the "Industry Baby" rapper still walking down the street. He was then reportedly transported to a local hospital for what has been described as a possible overdose. When reached for comment by EW Thursday, a spokesperson with the LAPD confirmed receiving the call and that the suspect was arrested for charging at a police officer, but could not identify the person by name. "This morning, around 5:50 a.m., officers responded to the 11000 block of Ventura Blvd for a nude man walking in the street," the spokesperson said. "Upon arrival, the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer." Reps for Lil Nas X didn't immediately respond to EW's request for comment on Thursday. In April, the two-time Grammy winner also revealed that he had been hospitalized after a portion of hisface became paralyzed. "Soooo lost control of the right side of my face," he wrote in the caption of a video shared to his socials, which showed him in a hospital bed as he displayed to fans the lack of mobility in the muscles in his face. "This is me doing a full smile right now, by the way," he continued, with no significant expression visible on one side of his face. "I couldn't even laugh right," he said, laughing. "What the f---?" He later shared more updates to his Instagram Stories, where he wrote, "I am ok! Stop being sad for me. Shake ur ass for me instead."
