Anwar Hussein/Getty Prince William and Prince Harry's fractured relationship shows no signs of healing, but the princes are bonded by a value their late mother, Princess Diana, taught them The ethos is "pure Diana," historian Amanda Foreman tells PEOPLE in this week's exclusive cover story The brothers remain divided by a painful rift, 28 years after Diana died in 1997 Prince WilliamandPrince Harrymay be estranged, but the royal brothers are raising their own children with a value that their late mother,Princess Diana, deeply instilled in them. Despite the emotional and physical distance between them, William and Harry have each created home lives grounded in a shared commitment to providing their children with a genuinely authentic upbringing — "and that is pure Diana," historian Amanda Foreman tells PEOPLE in this week's exclusive cover story. Both brothers have also honored their mother, who died after a car crash in Paris on Aug. 31, 1997, by giving their daughters her name as a middle name. The Prince of Wales, 43, and the Duke of Sussex, 40, often speak of her to their children, and her photograph is displayed throughout their homes. Prince William andKate Middletonare parents toPrince George, 12,Princess Charlotte, 10, andPrince Louis, 7, while Prince Harry andMeghan MarklesharePrince Archie, 6, andPrincess Lilibet, 4. "The values they are instilling and discussing as families may be their best success," Foreman adds about Prince William and Prince Harry. "They are both very good role models as parents." https://people-app.onelink.me/HNIa/kz7l4cuf King Charles' sons remain divided by a bitter rift,28 years after their mother's death, in a clash that exploded into public view in 2020 when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their royal duties. "Things were said that sparked the initial rift, and it's never healed," says Princess Diana's biographer Andrew Morton. In his 2023 memoirSpare, Harry describesa tense 2019 confrontationwhere William criticized Meghan and, according to Harry, physically grabbed him by the collar, knocking him to the floor. The divide only deepened after the couple's explosive 2021 interview withOprah Winfrey, followed by their Netflix docuseries and Harry's bestselling book — each delivering sharp criticism of William, King Charles, Princess Kate,Queen Camillaand the institution they serve. "Some members of my familywill never forgive me," Prince Harry toldBBC Newsin May. Says Robert Lacey, author ofBattle of Brothers: "The rift is very profound and very long-lasting. It will not be changed, in my opinion, until Harry makes a move and apologizes." Adds Foreman: "Everyone wants it to happen on their terms, but that's what makes it impossible." DOMINIC LIPINSKI/POOL/AFP via Getty Despite the distance between them, both brothers remain united in one shared vow: to honor their mother's memory. Long before the siblings' estrangement, Diana taught her sons what that legacy looked like: a new kind of royal life rooted not in pomp but in compassion. She didn't just infuse their lives with normalcy through visits to amusement parks and burger joints; she also took them to shelters for the unhoused. Prince William has taken inspiration inhis work to help the homeless, while Prince Harry found his calling in supporting young people affected by the AIDS epidemic in Southern Africa. It's acommitment Harry will continueafter stepping back fromSentebale, the charity he co-founded in 2006, following a dispute with the organization's chair. Tessy Ojo, CEO ofThe Diana Award— the only charity to bear their mother's name, and one that William and Harry now support separately — has witnessed the princes' dedication firsthand. "I've seen how they watch young people who never met their mother articulate the impact she's had on them. There is a sense of immense pride: 'Wow, my mother did that!' " Ojo tells PEOPLE. Fantasy football: Taylor Swift inspired team names for 2025New Foto - Fantasy football: Taylor Swift inspired team names for 2025

After a long offseason, football is back –fantasy football, that is. While teams battle through training camp and preseason action, we are left to fight battles on a different front. Those come in the form of fantasy drafts and, more importantly, choosing the right name for your squad this season. After all, you will have to look at it forever should your team be the last one standing. AsTaylor Swiftenters her third season as a big NFL fan, the demand for Swift-inspired names only continues to grow. For the Swifties just getting into the fantasy action – welcome aboard and don't let a fantasy championship only be reality in your wildest dreams. To let you focus on roster building, we'll ensure there's no blank space for your team name when entering draft night. Here are some fantasy football team names for 2025 that are inspired by the music superstar. Short, sweet and to the point, but just different enough from the overused "Jordan Love Story" that's run its course. You can blend theGreen Bay Packersquarterback's name with a bit of romance in what you hope will be a happy marriage between your team and the league's championship trophy at season's end. Finished last in your league last year and had to deal with a punishment that was either humiliating or borderline illegal? Shake it off! A lesser-known song in the Swift discography, this team name offers versatility to fit plenty of players while showcasing your Swiftie fandom. Ideally, this is what you'll want opponents saying every Sunday as theFalcons' receiver waltzes his way into the end zone. Tua Tagovailoa was made for this. Hopefully he'll stay healthy enough this season to keep this name relevant. Hey, punters are people too. Even defenses and kickers get in on the fun. Where's the love for the punters of the world? As we've established, punters are people too. However, until they enter the fantasy realm, it's hard to be excited when they appear on the field as your star player watches from the sideline. Why settle for naming your team after a player when you can just showcase your love of the game, or specifically, NFL RedZone? Sure, it's just the name of a song. However, it's the perfect fit for a team that continues to dominate the league each season and we can't let it slip by just because there isn't a pun. There's no way D'Andre Swift wasn't making this list. Sometimes you have to take the layups. UDINE, Italy (AP) — Paris Saint-Germain get back on the hunt for trophies in the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham on Wednesday. It's the annual early-season match between the winners of the Champions League and Europa League — and PSG starts as the big favorite. Coming off winning the treble, includingthe Champions Leaguefor the first time, the Qatari-backed team from the French capital will look to bounce back from losing to Chelsea in thefinal of the Club World Cupin the United States. Facing them at Stadio Friuli in Udine is another London club in Tottenham, which ended a 17-year wait for silverware bywinning the Europa Leagueby beating Manchester United in the final. Spurs have a new manager in Thomas Frank but also some big absentees, with attacking midfielders James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski injured and long-time star Son Heung-min recently sold to LAFC. It is Tottenham's first appearance in the Super Cup. PSG has played in it once, losing 9-2 on aggregate to Juventus over two legs in 1996. PSG's players have just returned to training after the Club World Cup, which extended last season to mid-July. Tottenham should be more match-sharp, having played a raft of friendlies including against Arsenal and Bayern Munich. ___ AP soccer:https://apnews.com/hub/soccer

The New York Mets have a new home run king. Pete Alonso hit a two-run blast off Atlanta Braves starter Spencer Strideron Tuesday, extending New York's lead to 5-1 in the bottom of the third inning. [Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2025 NFL season] The home run was the 253rd of Alonso's career, moving him past a tie with franchise great Darryl Strawberry for the most in Mets history. And Alonso wasn't done. He hit another one in the sixth inning. The solo shot off reliever Austin Cox extended New York's lead again, this time to 11-5. It also extended Alonso's new Mets franchise record to 254 home runs. His second home run of the night again sent Citi Field into a frenzy. His 252 blasts with the Mets previously stood as the franchise record. Alonso, 30,re-signed with the Mets on a two-year, $54 million contractin the offseason and will presumably have plenty of opportunities to add to his now-franchise-record home run tally. Alonso led the NL with 53 home runs in his rookie campaign in 2019. In the years since then, he has remained one of baseball's premier sluggers, with 34-plus home runs in each season that wasn't shortened by COVID-19. Tuesday's home runs were Alonso's 27th and 28th of the season in his 118th game, putting him well on pace to eclipse 30 home runs again, with 43 games remaining on New York's schedule. The Mets will need all they can get from Alonso as they fight for a spot in the playoffs. Tuesday's win snapped a seven-game losing streak and a run of 11 losses in 12 games. They improved to 64-55 with the win, five games behind the first-place Phillies in the NL East. They also kept pace in the wild-card race and maintained a two-game lead over the Cincinnati Reds for the final playoff berth in the National League.

Daniel Dae Kim talks Broadway, travel tips and trust issues in Amazon Prime's 'Butterfly'New Foto - Daniel Dae Kim talks Broadway, travel tips and trust issues in Amazon Prime's 'Butterfly'

NEW YORK –Daniel Dae Kimseems like a good person to ask for a travel hack. The actor, 57, lives with his family in Hawaii. He spends a decent amount of time in Los Angeles and South Korea, where he filmed his latest series, Amazon Prime's"Butterfly"(all six episodes now streaming). He travels to New York to promote the espionage thriller but soon after will return to Vancouver, where he's filming Season 3 of Netflix's"Avatar: The Last Airbender." "It's a lot," the actor says, before offering a piece of advice. "The best thing to do is to forget about the time zone you left, because there's no sense in hanging on to something you're not gonna get back." The ancedote sounds more apt for navigating life than simply dealing with jet lag. But Kim may not be so quick to leave 2025 behind, a year when he was named toTime's list of the 100 most influential people in the world, earneda Tony nominationfor his role in the revival of "Yellow Face" and continues to shine a light on Asian representation in show business. "I'm incredibly grateful to be in this position and literally right here talking to you because it means that people care about the projects that I'm doing and people think that whatever I have to say means something," Kim says, "I don't know if my kids would feel the same way, but I'm very grateful." In"Butterfly,"Kim plays David Jung, a former U.S. intelligence agent living in South Korea with his wife and daughter. When Rebecca (Reina Hardesty), an agent for the spy organization Caddis, tries to kill him, Jung confronts a decision from his past while trying to save his family. "A central question in our entire season is, 'Who can you trust?'" Kim says. "And just because they're family, can you trust them? The ending to our season really speaks to that question." Kim is also an executive producer of the series and says a potential Season 2 offers "a lot more story to tell, and there are places for all of our characters to go that I find really intriguing. So let's hope people like it enough to make that happen." Kim became the first Asian nominee for best actor in a play in the Tony Awards' 78-year history. Though he lost toCole Escola("Oh, Mary!"), Kim enjoyed his experience on Broadway and hopes that an Asian actor can one day win the category. During his time working in New York, the self-described theater nerd "saw anything and everything" he could when it came to shows. "I was sometimes seeing plays, at least one a day for several weeks," says Kim, a graduate of New York University. "I have a lot of friends still here in New York who I grew up with and did my theater work with. So it's been nice to reconnect with the community here." Kim also celebrated his 57th birthday Aug. 4 in New York, marking the occasion with a "Butterfly" cast and crew dinner at the Korean restaurant Naro. However, unlike the opening of "Butterfly," where Kim's character is belting out The Killers' "Mr. Brightside," the actor did not partake in any karaoke afterward. "I do love 'Mr. Brightside,'" he jokes. "It doesn't matter who starts it − everyone finishes it, and that to me is a sign of a good karaoke song."
