A lorry driver was miraculously rescued from a semi-truck that crashed via a bridge guardrail and dangled over the frigid Ohio River.
Dramatic footage from the scene captured the second that a first responder hooked to a crane was lowered to the cab of the truck and pulled the driving force out.
The 2 hung over the river alongside the lorry hanging halfway over the Clark Memorial Bridge in Louisville, Kentucky.
Tethered to a rope and holding on to each other, both have been slowly hoisted up and to safety onto the bridge, exhibits the video obtained by WDRB.
The driving force cheated demise, as falling into the icy cold river would have been like hitting cement.
About 45 minutes after the rescue, the Louisville Police Department wrote on X (Twitter) that 'the driving force of the semi has been rescued from the cab of the car and is on land'.
Louisville Hearth Chief Brian O'Neill stated the lady caught within the cab was 'extraordinarily fortunate' that the lorry didn't fall into the river. He recognized the primary responder who repelled right down to her as Bryce Carden.

The truck was touring northbound on the bridge when it went across the lane and burst by means of the bridge guardrail shortly after noon on Friday, native studies indicated.
It was not instantly recognized why or how the truck busted by means of the guardrail and if the driving force or anyone else was injured. The driving force's id has not been revealed.
The lorry remained hanging off the bridge after the driving force was rescued. The bridge was closed to visitors as authorities continued to work the scene.
